- SYMPTOMS. The only sign may be a fast, forceful heartbeat (greater than 100
- beats per minute). It comes on gradually and then slackens off (SINUS

- beats per minute) may develop suddenly and last for hours or even days
- (PAROXYSMAL TACHYCARDIA). It might disappear suddenly and then reappear.
- There may be pallor, nausea, weakness or fainting with fast heartbeat.
- CAUSES of sinus tachycardia may possibly include anemia, emotional stress,
- excessive thyroid functioning (hyperthyroidism), exercise, and infection.
- Paroxysmal Tachycardia may stem from tobacco, anxiety, fatigue or coffee.
- TREATMENT. To restore normal heart rate, medication may be prescribed.

- .Bending forward from the waist may also help.
